$3000 in Fire Victim Relief distributed Since December of 2025

Since our founding in 1893, Lincoln has been a proud group of selfless, civic minded volunteers. In 1893, the above firehouse was bought and paid for entirely by the membership. When the company wanted a motorized engine they purchased the first three. In 1920, the company mortgaged their own homes to buy a $10,500 Mack AC pumper. Lincoln has owned their own firehouse from 1893 until 2025 and we stand ready to continue our service.
Lincoln was a combination hose and truck company for most of its history and as such had the largest allowable membership roster, twenty-eight, by borough ordinance. We never missed a fire and Lincoln men were responsible for saving dozens of lives during its fire suppression days.

In 2025, the Keyport Fire Department was abolished by Borough Ordinance, and the seven independent fire companies were no longer legally able to provide fire suppression and rescue services. Lincoln, by majority vote, decided to continue our service of helping people by adopting a new two-part purpose. Our beloved 1999 KME pumper was sold to South America to continue its service, far away from 142 Second Street.
